Drawing
From initial design to technical drawing
The technical office supports our clients throughout their projects. From the initial design to the technical drawing, we meet your requirements and bring our expertise to guide you.

A watch manufacturer working on watch and jewellery cases. From the conception of the design to the final detail, your product comes to life step by step in the Atelier Gros workshop.

Design, machining, stamping, the jeweller’s hand, casing and inspection follow one another here, in workshops that communicate at all times.

Our 5-axis machining centres are dedicated to complex cases, bracelets and all types of clasps. A CNC lathe and a very high-precision 3-axis centre machine demanding watch components, alongside the traditional modules of watchmaking craftsmanship.

We have kept a 60-tonne press in our mechanical workshop to cut, strike and stamp shapes. It allows us to make registered-design deployment buckles with 2 and 3 blades, in precious metal, within three months.

From deburring to complex retouching, every component passes through the hands of our jewellers. On exceptional materials, the finishing workshop delivers a product ready to be cased, set and water-resistant.

Our watchmakers case your pieces with the calibre of your choice, fit the crystals and test water resistance. We deliver a case entirely made and assembled in our workshop.

As a further pledge of quality and trust, you can inspect the pieces you ordered directly on our premises. Our after-sales service extends the customer care we cultivate every day.

Unique piece, prototype or series, whatever the quantities, materials and deadlines.

Cases ready to be fitted, case middles, bezels, engraved casebacks with hallmark and, where needed, stone setting.

Bracelets, attachments, pin buckles and deployment buckles, all made within our departments.

Bridges, plates, oscillating weights, as well as crowns, pushers and special mechanisms.

We propose ideas inspired by watchmaking history and revisited by technology: 3D metal printing, new materials, industry 4.0.

This case middle is made of tantalum, a very rare metal that is very difficult to machine, and even more difficult to finish and polish. Its bluish anthracite grey, its resistance to corrosion and its stability over time are what interest our clients. Machining it calls for the 5-axis mastery our team has built.

This bezel was made as a prototype in 316L stainless steel, with a blue DLC coating applied by a partner to make it scratchproof. White Super-LumiNova was applied to the indexes to meet the client’s specifications.
Some of the products Atelier Gros has made for prestigious clients.

At Atelier Gros, there is no project or client too small.
We bring unique pieces and prototypes to life. Our watchmaking atelier also inspects and restores pre-owned watches, for private clients and for companies such as Luxe for You or Cash Converters in Geneva, Nyon, Lausanne and Montreux.

We conduct our business and operations in a responsible and ethical way with our employees, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
Certified member of the Responsible Jewellery Council. Due diligence on gold, palladium, platinum and diamonds; reports available on request.
Eco21-labelled workshop, a programme of the Geneva Industrial Services: 95% of lighting switched to LED, 30% less energy.
All precious metal waste is recycled; oil and consumables are handled by authorised partners.
We regularly open our doors for discovery internships with the Office pour l’orientation, la formation professionnelle et continue.
We are based in the ARCOOP building, alongside about 70 other artisans, in the heart of Geneva.
Since 1990, our pieces have carried our clients’ names. The 60-tonne press has stayed in the workshop; 3D metal printing, tantalum and industry 4.0 have come in. A family house that holds every step, from drawing to inspection, now chooses how much of its own signature it shows: to houses that want a single partner, and to watchmakers preparing their first piece.
